Last year, the central government started the Lakhpati Didi scheme for women. The objective of this scheme is to promote women in the field of industry. They have to give financial assistance to set up an industry. Through this scheme, the government gives loans up to Rs 5 lakh to women without interest. What is Lakhpati Didi Yojana?
The central government takes many steps for women empowerment. Lakhpati Didi Yojana is also an effort for the same. This scheme has been run for women associated with self-help groups. Through this scheme, women will be helped in increasing their income. Women will be encouraged for self-employment.
They will be given training under the skill development program. And then to set up their own business, a loan of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be given without interest. Under this scheme, the government's target is to connect 3 crore women with Lakhpati Didi Yojana.
This condition has to be fulfilled
To apply in Lakhpati Didi Yojana, some documents have been made for women which they have to fulfill. The most important condition in this scheme is that if any woman applies under this scheme. Then there should not be any member in her family who has a government job.
If this happens, then such women will not get the benefit under the scheme. So along with this, only those women can apply under the scheme. Whose family's annual income is Rs 3 lakh or less. Women with an annual income of more than Rs 3 lakh will not be eligible for benefits in the scheme.
How to apply in the scheme?
To apply for Lakhpati Didi Yojana, women will have to make a business plan under a self-help group. As soon as their business plan is ready, that plan will be sent to the government by the self-help group. Government officials will review the application. After that, if the application is accepted, the benefits of the scheme will be given and a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh will also be given under it.
