Today Labor Day is being celebrated all over the world. Laborers play an important role in the construction and development of any nation. There is no gender or caste of workers. The person who does physical labor is called a laborer or worker.
A worker does the work of laying the foundation of any construction work and giving it the shape of a strong building in a systematic manner.
This Labor Day, two women deserve mention. These two women may have reduced the physical labor but they definitely provided better employment opportunities to the laborers, which will be useful in the future also. The name of one of these two women is Margaret Shute-Lihotzky and the other is a woman named Alice Austin. Margaret Shute-Lihotzky
Margarethe Schutt-Lihotzky was the first Austrian female architect and activist in the Nazi resistance movement. Margaret, born on January 23, 1897, is remembered for her design of modern kitchens. He contributed to designing the Frankfurt Kitchen.
Celebrating her 100th birthday in 1997 and recalling her decision to study architecture, Margaret said, "Nobody in 1916 would have imagined a woman being commissioned to build a house, even I. Not even."
Received many honors for his brilliant design. Later, she also went to Istanbul with her husband, where she was invited to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Alice Austin
Margaret designed the first modern kitchen so that women would get better space and would not have to face much difficulty in the kitchen in poor condition. Austin even designed the kitchen to be a communal space, where multiple families could eat, drink and spend time together.
Alice Constance Austin was an American architect, city planner, radical feminist, socialist, designer, and utopist.
