Sports is a better exercise for children

Our expert Dr. Satish Kumar says that there is no better exercise than sports for children till the age of 14 years. Because it not only helps in the physical development of children but is also beneficial for their mental health. Children of this age have a lot of energy, but this does not mean that they should use it to sweat in the gym. Rather, physical games like badminton, tennis, rope jumping, running and jumping are very beneficial for children of this age. This helps in the development of bones, increases body length and helps in getting relief from obesity to a great extent.

Teenagers keep themselves fit through these activities

At the age of 14 to 17 years, all parts of the body develop and become strong, but this age is also not right to join the gym. Rather, at this age one should practice yoga and exercise at home. Apart from this, swimming and cycling are good physical activities for teenagers of this age which helps in keeping them healthy.

You can join a gym at this age

At the age of 17 to 18 years, the body loses its flexibility, hence one can join the gym at this age. But keep in mind that you should join only a good gym institute where only trained people provide training in physical activity.

Keep these things in mind while joining the gym

Along with this, while joining the gym, you have to keep some things in mind in the initial days, like not practising long exercises in the beginning. Rather, gradually increase the exercise time. Apart from this, do not use any supplements to build muscles quickly. Yes, you should take full care of your eating habits and include as many nutritious things as possible in your diet. Because consuming a good diet is most important for good health. By keeping all these precautions in mind, you can join the gym and get health benefits.
