But if you are still not happy with your kheer recipe, then let us tell you such an easy recipe of Kesar Saffron Kheer, which you can easily prepare even in the midst of fasting fatigue and by eating it you will forget the fatigue of your day-long fast and your loved ones will also be happy.
Ingredients of Saffron Kheer
1 liter milk
1 cup rice
10-15 saffron strands
150 grams sugar
2 tablespoons almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 teaspoon ghee
Easy method of making Saffron Kheer
Step 1- First of all wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for a few hours.
Step 2- Now put saffron strands in four spoons of milk in a bowl.
Step 3- Heat the milk on low flame in a thick bottom vessel.
Step 4- Fry the soaked rice in a little ghee and add it to the boiling milk and keep stirring it.
Step 5- When the rice is cooked, add sugar to it and mix well.
Step 6- Add cardamom and saffron milk to the prepared kheer and mix well.
Step 7- Cook the kheer for 5-7 minutes and remove it from the flame.
Step 8- Now heat ghee in a pan and add all the finely chopped dry fruits including cashews, almonds, raisins, pistachios and fry lightly.
Step 9- Garnish the kheer with this roasted dry fruit.
Your delicious saffron kheer is ready. You can serve it as per your wish, cold or hot.
