Karwa Chauth 2023: This year Karwa Chauth is on 01 November 2023. On this day, married women observe Nirjala fast and perform puja in the evening after moonrise. After the puja is over, women break their fast by offering Arghya to the moon. Actually, sometimes in some places, the moon is not visible due to rain or any other reason. In such a situation, women observing fast get worried. If the moon is not visible in your city, then in such a situation the fasting person should not be worried, by taking some measures, the moon can be worshiped and the fast can be broken. Let us know about it...
If the moon is not visible on Karva Chauth then take these measures
If the weather in your city is bad, the sky is cloudy due to which the moon is not visible, then the best way to break the fast is to face the direction from which the moon rises and meditate on it and break the fast.
Apart from this, women can worship and break their fast by seeing the moon sitting on the head of Lord Shiva. If there is no such idol of Lord Shiva in your house, then you can break the fast by going to the temple.
You can also break your fast by making a moon made of rice and worshiping it with rituals. For this, spread a red cloth on the puja platform facing the direction of the moon rise and make a moon shape with rice on it. Then invoke the moon by chanting the mantra Om Chaturtha Chandraya Namah and then break the fast by worshiping.
Apart from this, one solution can also be that if the moon rises in the city of your relative or someone you know, then you can break the fast by watching the moon over a video call and doing puja.
