Registration begins for the CBSE Central Sector Scholarship, know where and how to apply!

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Board) has released a notification for the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for the year 2023-24. According to the released notification, the registration process for the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme has started. To apply for this scholarship, students have to visit the official website Scholars.gov.in.

As per the notification of the CBSE Board, the registration process is online. Students have time till December 31, 2023, to apply for the Central Sector Scholarship. Details of who can apply for the Central Sector Scholarship and how to apply are given below:

How to Apply for Central Sector Scholarship:

Visit the official website Scholars.gov.in.

Click on the “Applicant Corner” link on the homepage.

Then, click on the “New Registration” link.

On the next page, go to “Fresh Application” and fill in the required details to complete the registration.

After registration, definitely take a printout of the application.

Eligibility for Central Sector Scholarship:

As per the notification of the CBSE Board, students who have passed the 12th class examination with more than 80% marks can apply for this scholarship. Also, the annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh. Also, candidates should not apply for any other scholarship scheme.
