This is a great opportunity for 12th pass candidates to become forest guards and wildlife protectors under the Forest Department. For this, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission, UPSSSC has invited online applications. Jobs have been announced for a total of 709 posts, which include 693 posts of forest guard and 16 posts of wildlife guard. Candidates can submit online applications by visiting the official portal of the Commission upsssc.gov.in from September 20. The last date of application will be till 10th October.

Note that under recruitment, shortlisting for the main examination will be done only on the basis of the score of Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test. In such a situation, it is mandatory for the applied candidates to appear in the UP PET exam. Out of total 693 posts of Forest Guard, 333 posts are unreserved. Whereas 189 posts are reserved for SC, 5 ST, 97 OBC and 69 posts for EWS.

Age Range:-
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 40 years.
Selection Process:-
First of all, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of PET score. Then these candidates will be called for the main examination. Those who clear the main examination will have to appear in the physical test. Under the physical test, men will have to complete a 25 km race in 4 hours with a weight of 10 kg. Whereas women will have to complete the race of 14 km in 4 hours.
