There is a big good news for the candidates preparing for jobs in Railways. Indian Railways has invited applications for various posts, applications for which can be made till 9 December 2023. These posts are in various Divisions/Units under East Central Railway and include Apprentice posts.
A total of 1832 posts of Executive Apprentice will be filled through this recruitment process. These include 675 posts in the Danapur division, 156 in Dhanbad division, 518 in Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay division, 47 in Sonpur division, 81 in Samastipur division, Plant Depot/Pt. There are 135 posts in Deen Dayal Upadhyay, 110 in Passenger Car Repair Workshop, and 110 in Mechanical Workshop/Samastipur.
Eligibility to apply, applicants must have passed the 10th class with 50% marks and also have an ITI degree in relevant trade. For more eligibility information, candidates can check the notification issued by Railways.
As per the age limit, the age limit for all the posts has been fixed between 15 to 24 years. However, the OBC category has been given an upper age limit of 3 years and the SC and ST category has been given 5 years relaxation.

Selection will be done without examination:
Applicants to these various posts will be selected through a merit list based on educational qualification, without any examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called for medical examination and document verification.
