Ingredients for making Panchamrit
Milk - 1 cup
Curd - 2 tbsp
Desi ghee - 1 tbsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Optional ingredients
Basil leaves - 2-3 leaves
Saffron - 1-2 strands
Chopped dry fruits - cashews, almonds, chironji
Method of making
To make Panchamrit, first of all pour 1 cup of milk in a clean vessel. Now add 2 tbsp of fresh curd to it and mix well. After this add 1 tbsp of ghee to it.
Mix the ghee well with milk and curd. While stirring it properly, now add 1 tbsp of honey and mix it well. Lastly, add 1 tbsp of sugar to the vessel and dissolve it. Although traditionally Panchamrit is ready. But if you want to decorate it, then now it is time to decorate it.
To decorate Panchamrit, if you want, you can add 2-3 basil leaves to Panchamrit. This makes the Panchamrit more sacred. Along with this, you can add saffron threads or chopped nuts on top.
