The services of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have come to a standstill. The website of IRCTC has been down since around 25 am today i.e. 25th July, due to which the users are facing a lot of trouble, because this is also the time for booking Tatkal tickets. Like the IRCTC website, the IRCTC app has also come to a standstill. The message is coming on the website of IRCTC that the service of the site is closed due to maintenance.
After visiting the IRCTC site, the message is coming that 'e-ticketing service is not available due to maintenance'. please try later. For cancellation/file TDR, please call customer care no. 14646,0755-6610661 and 0755-4090600 or mail to etickets@irctc.co.in. On opening the app, I am getting the message that the request could not be processed, please try after some time.
Let us tell you that earlier on May 6, the services of IRCTC had come to a standstill around 10 am, due to which the users had to face a lot of trouble. During that time too, maintenance was cited for the site being down. By the way, for your information, let us tell you that the maintenance work of IRCTC is done after 11 o'clock at the night.
