Instagram Quiet Mode Instagram users are always active in creating reels and posting photos. For this reason, Instagram users are busy watching them, but many teenage users are unable to write their studies because of this. Now Instagram has introduced a new feature for teenagers.

Instagram has announced a new feature called Quiet Mode. The great thing is that through this feature, users can create distance instead of connecting with Instagram. The company has started this feature keeping in mind those users who are unable to do their studies or other important work due to Instagram.

Through a blog post, Instagram, owned by Meta, said that teenagers had informed the company that they sometimes wanted to take time for themselves and focus on studying at night.

Giving information about the features, the company said that the purpose of the new Quiet Mode is to encourage people to spend less time on the app. Meta said it will specifically urge its teen users, who are studying, to enable quiet mode during the night through notifications on the app.

How will this feature work

According to the company, this feature of Instagram will inform users that the user is not currently active on the app by silencing incoming alerts, auto-replying to direct messages (DMs), and setting followers to 'Quiet Mode'. With this feature, users will not be worried even after keeping their distance from the app. This feature is available to all but it will be exclusively used by teenage users.

Quiet Mode availability

The Quiet Mode feature is available to all users in countries like Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US starting today. But this feature will be started soon in other countries including India.

Recently the company added the ability for parents to see their teen's Instagram settings, including privacy and account settings. If their teen updates a setting, parents will also be notified so they can talk to their teen about the change. In addition, parents can now view accounts that their children have blocked.
