The Indian cricket team has not yet got a chance to fully showcase its strength in the Asia Cup. Because their matches against Pakistan and Nepal were affected due to rain, now once again the Indian team has to take the field against Pakistan, and before that, Team India is busy preparing itself again after taking a rest for some time. Let us tell you that for this match to be held in Colombo, the Indian team has started sweating in net practice and gym sessions, a glimpse of which has been shown by the Board of Control for Cricket in India by sharing a tremendous video.

Let us tell you that Team India reached Colombo on Tuesday 5th September for its first match of the Super Four round. Team India will face Pakistan on 10th September at R Premadasa Stadium. Since there was enough time for this match, Team India took some rest and then started preparing again. Almost all the players of Team India spent a long time in the gym on Wednesday and Thursday and left no stone unturned to maintain their fitness.

* Sweated a lot in the gym:

BCCI has posted a great video of Team India's gym session on its website. In this video of about two and a half minutes, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and all the players including Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur are seen doing different types of exercises. Apart from stretching, the players also did weight training and after 2 days of rest, they left no stone unturned to prepare themselves for the competition again.

* These 6 players did indoor practice:

As far as practice is concerned, not all the players took part in the net session. Let us tell you that Thursday was the day of optional practice and hence most of the players including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli took a rest after doing gym. Only six players spent time batting and bowling in the indoor nets at the Premadasa Stadium. Only KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya, Shardul Thakur, Shubman Gill, and Suryakumar Yadav took part in the indoor practice session. Due to rain in Colombo, the ground is filled with water and hence the players have to make do with indoor practice only.
