Every day crores of passengers travel in Indian trains. In view of this, Indian Railways is operating thousands of trains across the country. However, the number of rail passengers in the country is so high that even these trains are not enough. At the same time, during the festive season in October and November, it is very difficult to get a seat in the train, let alone board it. According to the number of passengers in the country, there are very few trains.

For this reason, all the seats in trains are booked well in advance. Apart from this, there is a huge crowd of passengers in the general class, due to which many passengers are forced to travel in the train toilet. In view of this problem, Indian Railways has made a special plan for the passengers traveling in the general bogie and has started working on it.

Indian Railways is increasing the number of general coaches in regular trains. In the month of November itself, more than 1 thousand general coaches will be added to 370 regular trains. With this decision of Indian Railways, passengers traveling in general bogies will have a higher chance of getting a seat than before.

According to Dilip Kumar, Executive Director of Railway Board, these general bogies are being manufactured in Integral Coach Factory Chennai and Raebareli Coach Factory. Railways is planning to make about 10 thousand general coaches in the next two years.

Apart from this, 583 new general coaches were manufactured between July and October. These coaches have been added to 220 regular trains. There is a lot of crowd in general bogies.

This step of Indian Railways will be of great benefit to the passengers traveling in general coaches in the coming time. With this step of Indian Railways, now passengers will not need to travel by hanging or pushing in trains.
