Every year a huge crowd goes to see Mata Vaishno Devi. But people have to face a lot of problems while travelling. Therefore, now Indian Railways has made a special preparation for the people. For the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to run 2 special trains.
Apart from this, Uttar SamparkKranti (12445) and Shri Shakti Express (22461) are considered the best to reach Mata Vaishno Devi. These trains run every day and take 12 hours to reach Katra.
A new train going to Vaishno Devi
Train number 04071/04072, the Gati Shakti train and the other train Train number 04081/04082, the Gati Shakti special train will go from New Delhi to Katra.
Train departure time
04071/04072 Gati Shakti train will depart from New Delhi at 11:15 a.m. and reach Katra at 11:25 a.m. the next morning. The return time of this train from Katra is 06:30 AM on 9th September.
Running time of 04081/04082 Gati Shakti special train will be from New Delhi today on 7th September at 11:15 pm. This train will reach Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11:25 . The return time of this train will be 6:30 p.m. on 10th September.
How many days will the train run?
This train bus going to Mata Vaishno Devi will run for 2 days on Wednesday and Thursday. After this, the return time of this train will be on 9th and 10th September.
After reaching Katra, you can trek to Vaishno Devi. Apart from this, you can also take a one-way helicopter. The fee to go to Vaishno Devi by helicopter is Rs 1730, which takes about 30 minutes.
