Steam provides relief from blocked nose.
The most common problem is nasal congestion due to infection with changing seasons. For this, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH, taking steam with mint leaves or celery is beneficial in case of throat problem or blocked nose. It reduces phlegm and makes it easier to open the nose and breathe. The effects of this home remedy have also been seen in reducing the risk of sore throat and pain problems.

Consumption of clove and honey
To reduce problems like dry cough, pain and sore throat, one can get benefit by consuming clove powder mixed with honey. In case of cough or throat irritation, it can be consumed 2-3 times a day. Cloves are helpful for you in reducing throat infection and honey in reducing sore throat. This remedy can provide relief from the problems of cold and cough.

Gargle with salt water
Gargling with salt water is beneficial in reducing pain and sore throat and in treating cold symptoms. Add 1 tablespoon salt in a glass of water and boil for 5 minutes. When the temperature becomes normal, use it for gargling. According to Ayurveda experts, it is advised to gargle 3-4 times a day to get relief from sore throat. Drink basil decoction
Tulsi is one of the best antiviral herbs which is known to be very effective in cough, cold and sore throat. Boiling 4-5 basil leaves in some water and drinking it is beneficial. If you want, you can add honey and ginger to it. By consuming the decoction of basil mixed with black pepper, ginger, cloves and cinnamon, one can easily get relief from such problems.
