Why shouldn't the dropper be applied to the skin?

If you apply the dropper directly to the skin, it will happen that the bacteria present in your skin will get directly on the dropper tip of the serum. If you put it again in the bottle of serum, it will increase the risk of the transfer of microbes to the serum. If you apply the dropper directly to the skin, it also leads to uneven distribution across the skin. Due to this, the serum is applied in one place on our skin and less in other places.

What is the right way to use a face serum?

Dr Jusia has also told us the right way to apply the face serum on your face and neck.

Step 1- Take a few drops of serum in your hand

Too much quantity of serum is not applied so take a few drops of serum in your hand and with the help of your palms spread it all over the hand.

Step 2- Apply the serum on the face and neck

Now apply it all over the face and neck from bottom to top. Take care that it does not get into the eyes. By applying the serum in this way, there will be no risk of contaminating the dropper and at the same time, the serum will be well distributed on your face and neck.

Keep some things in mind before using a face serum

  • Be sure to pay attention to the kind of face serum you are using.
  • If you have chosen face serum, then apply it on a trial basis for the first few days. It may make your skin more oily or dry.
  • It is not even necessary that the serum should affect every skin. That's why it would be good if you apply the serum on the skin only after taking information from the doctor.
  • Make sure to clean your face before applying face serum. If you do not clean the face then it will not have any effect.
  • The serum will be light or cream based, it depends on your skin.
