Today we will tell you how to prepare Idli in Hyderabadi style. Hyderabadi-style idli is very spicy, crispy and delicious. You can make it hot at home for breakfast and serve it with chutney.

Instant Idli Batter Ingredients
Rice flour
1 cup urad dal flour
half cup poha
1/4 cup salt
1 tsp curd
Half cup water
1 cup fruit salt
2 teaspoons onion (chopped)
2 tbsp curry leaves
5-6 tomatoes (chopped)
Chickpea lentil


Ingredients for making Idli Podi Masala
Oil 1 tbsp
Half cup chana dal
Urad dal half cup
White sesame seeds 1/4 cup
Whole red chilli 20
Asafoetida half teaspoon
Sugar 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp

Method
To make Idli in Hyderabadi style, first put Poha in a jar and make a fine powder of it. Now mix rice and urad dal flour well. To make its batter, add 1 teaspoon salt, curd and water. Leave it like this for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare podi masala. Heat one spoon of oil in a pan and grind chana dal and urad dal in it. When it starts turning golden, add sesame seeds and whole red chillies to it. After turning off the gas, add Asafoetida.
To prepare instant idli batter, add fruit salt to it. After this, heat a flat pan or tawa on the stove with 2-3 tablespoons of oil. On this, fry chopped onion, curry leaves and green chillies till they turn golden. When it turns golden, add chopped tomatoes to it. Add two spoons of podi masala to it. Now divide this masala into four parts.
Add a scoop of idli batter on top of each block of masala. Now close it by covering it with a lid and wait till it swells. You have to cook it for four to five minutes. Similarly, turn it and cook it from the other side. You can make it as crispy as you like. Garnish it with coriander and serve it hot with chutney.
