Drink turmeric water

Turmeric is also a mine of qualities. Anti-bacterial, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties are found in it. It is also beneficial in removing infections. Eating a paste of garlic, turmeric and jaggery with warm water will provide relief. You can also gargle with turmeric and salt water.

Drink Basil and Ginger Tea

Tulsi and ginger tea are beneficial to stay healthy in the winter season. You take 4-5 basil leaves. Add a half-inch piece of ginger in it and boil both these things in water until it reduces to half, then filter it. Drink it lukewarm. You can also add honey to it. But add honey to the tea only after it comes to room temperature. Anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties are found in ginger and basil. These relieve sore throat.

Cinnamon and honey

Cinnamon and honey are also effective in removing throat infections. Boil about a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon powder until it reduces to half and when it comes to room temperature, add honey to it. You will benefit. It reduces stiffness and soreness of the throat. This relieves colds, coughs and throat problems.

Black pepper and honey

Black pepper and honey relieve sore throat and cough. This reduces phlegm formation. Anti-bacterial properties are found in the mixture of black pepper and honey. It removes throat infections and provides relief from colds and coughs.
