Banana Kheer is indeed a delicious and nutritious choice for breakfast. Here's a simple recipe for you to enjoy:

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas

4 cups milk

1/2 cup rice

1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

A handful of chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, cashews, pistachios), for garnish

Instructions:

Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 30 minutes. Drain the water afterward.

In a large saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat.

Add the drained rice to the boiling milk and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is soft and the mixture thickens. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel and mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until they form a smooth paste.

Once the rice is cooked, add the mashed bananas to the saucepan and stir well to combine.

Continue to cook the mixture for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Add sugar and cardamom powder to the kheer and stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the kheer cool down to room temperature.

Once cooled, transfer the kheer to serving bowls and garnish with chopped nuts.

You can serve the banana kheer warm, chilled, or at room temperature, based on your preference.
