Ingredients to make Oatmeal Casserole
To make Oatmeal Pulao, two cups of oatmeal, 3 tbsp ghee, 6 cloves, 10-12 black peppercorns, 1-star anise, 1 bay leaf, 1 small cinnamon stick, 1 tsp cumin, 1 cup onion roughly chopped, 1 cup Cauliflower roughly chopped, 1 cup Carrot roughly chopped, 1 cup Peas, ½ cup capsicum chopped, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 2 tsp Take coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp cumin powder, salt as per taste and 5 cups hot water.
Oatmeal Casserole Recipe
Place a pan on the gas and heat it by adding one spoonful of ghee. Then put oatmeal in it and fry it till it turns golden brown. Now put two spoons of ghee in the pressure cooker and heat it and add star anise, bay leaf, cinnamon, capsicum, cloves, and cumin seeds and fry them for a few seconds. Now add onion to it and fry it till it turns light brown. After this add cauliflower and carrot and fry it for four to five minutes. Then add ginger-garlic paste to it and put peas and capsicum in the cooker and let everything cook for three to four minutes.
Then mix turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt in it and fry while stirring continuously for a few minutes. After this add oatmeal to it and mix everything well. Then add five cups of hot water to it and mix one spoon of ghee in it and close the lid of the cooker. Now cook Daliya Pulao on medium flame till two whistles come. Your hot, healthy, and tasty Oatmeal Pulao is ready.
