Why Non-Veg Foods Become Harmful In Rainy Season: When raindrops fall on the earth after scorching heat, scorching sun, and humidity, it gives a feeling of relief to everyone, but as soon as the rain comes, the risk of many diseases and infections increases, in such a situation, prevention is very important, one way for this is to avoid some things while making changes in your daily diet.
Why is it dangerous to eat non-veg in the rainy season?
If seen from a religious point of view, non-vegetarian food is stopped during the month of Sawan due to the worship of Lord Shiva, but from a scientific point of view also, distance should be made from non-veg food during this period. Famous nutrition expert 'Nikhil Vats' has given the real reason for this.
1. Risk of fungus
Due to the heavy rains in the monsoon, the moisture in the air increases, after which the risk of fungal infection, mildew, and fungus starts increasing and the food items start rotting faster than normal because there is a lack of direct sunlight and light in the rainy season.
2. Weak Digestion
During rains, the humidity in the atmosphere increases due to which the effect of our digestive fire decreases. Since it takes more time to digest non-veg foods and if digestion becomes weak, non-vegetarian food starts rotting in the intestines and the risk of food poisoning also arises.
3. Cattle also get sick
During the monsoon, the number of insects increases considerably, and due to this chikungunya and dengue mosquitoes start increasing, due to which animals also fall ill, so the consumption of meat from these cattle can harm the body.
4. Fish are also polluted
Eating fish is good for our health, but avoid it in monsoon. In fact, due to heavy rains, all the dirt flows into the pond, which is bound to pollute the fish. If you eat these fish then you can fall ill.
