Renowned Dietician Dr. Ayushi Yadav, working at GIMS Hospital in Greater Noida, told ZEE NEWS that if we are consuming white bread regularly, then there can be many types of damage to our health. Instead of white bread, eat whole grain or multi-grain bread, which is beneficial for health.
1. High amount of salt
Most white bread has high salt content and preservatives because they have to be sold in the market for many days, but they are not at all good for health, because they can increase blood pressure. For those who consume a lot of white bread, this risk is more.
2. May increase weight
White bread contains a lot of carbohydrates, refined sugar, and salt, which causes a lot of damage to our bodies. If regular intake is done, then the blood sugar level and fat will increase rapidly, due to which the risk of diabetes and obesity will arise.
3. Loss of heart health
Due to the high sodium content in bread, there is a risk of increasing BP. High blood pressure means that the blood has to push harder to reach the heart through the arteries, which increases the risk of coronary artery disease, triple vessel disease, and heart attack.
