Apart from dengue, there is always a danger of diseases like malaria and chikungunya in this season. According to the doctors, this year more patients came to the hospitals in July than in June.
How dangerous is DSS?Symptoms of dengue start appearing after 3, 4 days after the mosquito bites. It may take longer than this. After this, pain starts in the whole body. Vomiting, headache, myalgia, epigastric discomfort, and abdominal pain are common. Patients often feel very weak. The fever lasts for 2-7 days and is followed by a drop in temperature. The risk of this disease remains high between July to October.
Every possible effort should be made to avoid mosquitoes in the rain.
According to doctors, there are three types of dengue fever, out of which two fevers are considered very bad. There are three types of fever such as classical dengue fever, dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), and dengue shock syndrome (DSS). Out of these three, the worst is DHF and DSS. If the patients suffering from these two types of dengue are not admitted to the hospital soon, then they may die. Please tell me that like Covid, there is no clear cure for dengue. After dengue is confirmed in the patient, treatment is done based on its symptoms. Doctors monitor every activity of the patient and treat them.
