  • Sargi is considered very important in the festival of Karva Chauth. Sargi thali is given to married women by their mother-in-law.
  • If you are going to observe Karva Chauth fast, then do not skip Sargi even by mistake. Be sure to eat the food items present on the Sargi plate. Generally, there are such things in the large plate, eating which provides energy to the body. This includes many things like fruits, coconut, dry fruits, sweets, juices, etc.
  • Avoid eating fried foods while breaking the fast, as it can cause problems like gas, diarrhea, or bloating. You can include things like coconut water, dry fruits, etc. in your diet while breaking the fast.
  • Wearing red color is considered auspicious on the day of Karva Chauth, whereas married women are also prohibited from wearing white or black color on this day. On this special occasion, you can wear clothes of other colors like red, yellow, green, pink etc.
  • It is believed that married women should listen to the story in the evening before breaking the fast during the festival of Karva Chauth. Without following this method, Nirjala fast is considered incomplete.
  • Married women and other family members should avoid eating non-vegetarian food on the day of Karva Chauth.
