Deodorants have also become an essential part of people's lives like makeup kits and beauty products. Like beauty creams and hair serums, many types of deo are also present in the market. However, many harmful chemicals are found in good-smelling does, which are very harmful to health. According to a BBC report, a 14-year-old girl in Derby city of Britain has died due to deodorant. This girl had inhaled deodorant, due to which she died. According to reports, the girl had a heart attack after spraying deo in the bedroom.
Can deodorants kill?
According to media reports, the medical cause of the girl's death is said to be the inhalation of aerosol. According to the girl's father, his daughter liked to spray deodorant on the blanket. Even in the death certificate, inhalation of aerosol has been given as the cause of death. According to health experts, there is no direct relation between deodorants and the death of someone. Death of a person due to Dio is counted in very rare cases.
However, if deo is inhaled for too long, the chemicals found in antiperspirants and deodorants can cause problems in your stomach and intestines. It can also cause vomiting or mild diarrhoea. Apart from this, cough and respiratory problems can also occur.
Dangerous Dio in these situations
If someone has asthma, then due to the strong fragrance of deo, he may get an asthma attack, which will prove fatal for the patient. This is also possible when the deo is sprayed in a closed room. Sometimes the deo is not as per the standards, which can lead to problems like Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. It is important to note that frequent exposure to strong-smelling does can prove to be dangerous. People with allergies are most at risk of this.
