It is believed that any devotee who worships Hanuman ji, who is counted among the supreme devotees of Lord Shri Ram, with a true heart, his every wish is fulfilled. In such a situation, on this day people worship Lord Hanuman in temples and homes and offer him their favorite dishes.
If you also want to please Lord Hanuman on his birth anniversary, then offer him sweet boondi. Although you can easily get boondi in the market, if you offer homemade boondi to Hanuman Ji, it will be much better. In today's article, we will teach you how to make sweet boondi easily, so that you can make it at home and enjoy it.
Ingredients for making Bundi
Gram flour – 1 cup
saffron color (edible)
Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp
Water
Desi Ghee
Ingredients for syrup
1/2 cup water
Sugar – one and a half cups
Saffron color
Cardamom – 2
Method
To make boondi at home, first prepare the syrup. For this, take water in a pan and add cardamom and sugar to it. Now keep stirring it until the sugar melts completely. When the sugar melts properly, add food color to it, turn off the gas, and keep it aside.
After this, you can start making boondi. For this, add gram flour and saffron color in a big bowl and mix well. Prepare batter by adding three-fourths water to gram flour. When it is mixed properly, add baking soda to it and mix it properly.
Now put desi ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee becomes hot, start filtering the boondi in the pan with the help of a strainer. When it gets cooked properly and starts becoming crisp, take out the boondi from the container and put it in the syrup. Let the body soak in the syrup for at least an hour. When it sinks properly, sprinkle rose petals on top and offer it. After offering Bhog, distribute this boondi.
