Guru Purnima 2023: This year Guru Purnima is being celebrated on 3 July 2023, Monday. Guru Purnima is an important festival celebrated in Hinduism, dedicated to worshiping the Gurus and receiving their blessings. This festival is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Ashadha. On this day, the disciples touch the feet of their Guru and take his blessings and express their gratitude. The festival of Guru Purnima is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of Maharishi Ved Vyas because Vyasji is considered to be the Adi Guru in Hinduism and he composed the Mahabharata. In Hinduism, Guru has been given a higher status than God. The person who respects the Guru is always successful. Therefore, on the day of Guru Purnima, one should avoid doing some mistakes in front of the Guru. Let us know which mistakes should not be done in front of Guru on Guru Purnima.

No matter how successful a person becomes in life, he should not sit in the same seat as a Guru. If the Guru is to sit on the chair, then the person should not sit on the chair. However, if the Guru is sitting on the ground, the disciple can also sit on the ground.

Do not sit in front of the Guru by leaning against the wall or any other thing. Also, do not sit in front of the Guru with your legs spread. Doing so is tantamount to insulting the Guru.

Never speak ill of your teacher. Doing this is considered a great sin. On the other hand, if another person is doing bad things to the Guru, then make him silent or get up and go away from there, because listening to the bad things of the Guru is also equal to sin.

No matter how big a person may be in terms of wealth, he should never show fame in front of the Guru. This is because only the knowledge given by the Guru leads to the welfare of the disciples. The value of Guru's knowledge cannot be repaid with any wealth.
