Scheme benefits and eligibility
Under this Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana, on the birth of a girl child, financial assistance of Rs 50 thousand is provided by the government. Although two daughters in the family can get this benefit, if there are more than two daughters, then the benefit of the scheme will not be available. To take advantage of this scheme, you must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state. If so, then you can apply for this scheme.

To apply, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the Department of Governance, Government of Maharashtra
Step 2
After visiting the website you have to download the application form from here
Then you have to fill out the form and enter all the information asked correctly.
After this, you have to attach a copy of the requested document with this filled form.
Step 3
Now you have to submit the form and documents to the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
After this, your application will be scrutinized and if everything is correct, financial assistance of Rs 50,000 is received in the name of your daughter.
