Gorakhnath Temple

It is believed that Guru Gorakhnath did penance on the banks of Bhagwati Rapti and established a divine samadhi at this place. Later this place was made the Gorakhnath temple.
Kusumhi Forest
Kusamhi Van is situated nine kilometers away from Gorakhpur Railway Station. The famous Budhia Mai temple is situated amidst this dense forest. Often Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also comes to worship in this temple. Kusumhi forest is an important place in terms of natural views as well as a religious place, where a large number of tourists reach. There is a small zoo inside the forest itself.
Ramgarh Tal
Spread over an area of 1700 acres in the city, Ramgarh Tal is also known as Ramgram. Rapti River passes through here. Presently this place has become Marine Drive of Purvanchal. In the evening, there is a light and sound show and a wonderful view of the rhythm. One can also enjoy boating and water sports.

If you are interested in the universe then you can visit the planetarium located in Gorakhpur. This place is located at a distance of 6 kilometers from Gorakhpur Railway Station. It would be fun to visit here with the kids.
Government Buddhist Museum
The Government Buddhist Museum is located in the Ramgarh Tal area in Gorakhpur district, which is a center of special attraction for tourists. The museum was established in 1987. The museum houses archaeological objects from the Paleolithic to the medieval period. Stone objects, bronze sculptures, metal objects, terracotta, pottery, manuscripts, ivory, miniature paintings, and punch mark coins are displayed here.
