River Ganga: The River Ganga is one of the most sacred rivers of India. Coming out of the Himalayas, passing through Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, it joins the Bay of Bengal. Major cities like Allahabad, Varanasi and Patna are present on the banks of this river.

If we talk about the length of the river Ganga..... then the total length of this river in India is more than 25 hundred km. The average depth of this river is 16 meters (52 ft) and the maximum depth is 30 meters (100 ft).
