If you enjoy spicy food and would like to try a recipe for fried green chillies, here's a simple method to prepare them:
Ingredients:
Fresh green chillies (as many as desired)
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
Chaat masala (optional, for seasoning)
Instructions:
Begin by washing the green chillies thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. It's important to handle them with care as they can be quite spicy, so you may want to use gloves or wash your hands thoroughly afterward.
Slit the green chillies lengthwise, leaving them intact at the stem.
Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat for frying.
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the slit green chillies to the oil and fry them until they turn crispy and slightly golden brown. This usually takes around 2-3 minutes.
Use a slotted spoon or tongs to remove the fried green chillies from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with a paper towel. This will help absorb any excess oil.
Sprinkle salt over the fried green chillies while they are still hot, and if desired, you can also sprinkle some chaat masala for extra flavor.
Allow the fried green chillies to cool down slightly before serving.
