Free Education Scheme: The Uttar Pradesh Government has brought a free education scheme for all children. National Program for Education of Girls at Elementary Education (NPEGEL)

The National Program for Education of Girls at Elementary Education was started in the year 2003. Under this scheme, education is provided to those girls who live away from the school area. It is difficult to reach their school.

Mid-Day Meal Scheme

Children are given free meals under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme. There are many benefits of this scheme, due to which there has been a lot of improvement in the attendance of children. It also helped in employing women.

Right to Education Act

This scheme was started in the year 2009 under the Right to Education Act. Under Right to Education, children aged 6 to 14 years are taught and told about the basic rights of education. Under this scheme, 25 per cent of seats in private schools are reserved for economically weaker children.

National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education (NSIGSE)

The National Scheme of Incentives to Girls for Secondary Scheme was started in the year 2008. Under this scheme, it is done to encourage the education of girls living in rural areas. Rs 3000 is also given to girls who complete secondary education.
