Oats
Soluble fibre is found in high amounts in oats. Due to this, there is no shortage of water in our stool and the stool passes easily. This does not cause constipation problems. You can also have oats chilla, oats idli or porridge.
Ghee or coconut oil
Butyric acid is found in high quantities in ghee which can give relief from constipation. Along with this, it reduces abdominal pain, bloating and other symptoms of constipation. Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids which help in softening the stool. If you take one spoon of ghee or coconut oil with lukewarm water in the morning, the motion will be correct and you will get relief from constipation.
Chia seeds
Chia seeds are rich in soluble fiber which creates a gel-like consistency in our digestive tract and makes it easier to pass stool. You can take 1-2 tbsp of soaked chia seeds with fruit, water or coconut water.
Triphala
Triphala Churna is a combination of three main herbs, Amla, Harad and Baheda. All these three provide relief from constipation. You can take half to one teaspoon of Triphala powder with lukewarm water before sleeping.
