At the same time, many people are confused about whether they should be covered or not. And if covering has to be done, what is the right way to do it? It is also important to know this because wrong packing can damage the AC. So let us know what is the right way to do this. You can learn about this in the next slides...
Know these things before covering the AC:-
Number 1
If you have AC in your house, then keep in mind that never pack it with polythene. If you do this, rust, fungus, or even insects may form in the condenser unit. Therefore, cover the AC with something that allows air to pass through it.
Number 2
If your AC is installed somewhere that is open or the split AC is installed on an outdoor or window AC on such an open wall. In such a situation, you can make a ply cover over it, which will protect it from water, etc.
Number 3
Many people cover the AC completely and there is no space left for air to go through it. If you do this, there is a risk of rusting the air conditioner and damaging its coils. Therefore one should avoid doing this.
Number 4
Many people buy covers available in the market for AC, but experts believe that the best way to cover the AC can be to make a wooden cover around it. Due to this, moisture does not form inside it and dust also does not enter it.
