* Ingredients required to make Lachha Rabdi:

1. Full cream milk -1 liter

2. Rose water -ΒΌ tsp

3. Saffron -1 pinch

4. Granulated sugar -3 tbsp

5. Cornflour -1 tbsp

* Easy recipe to make Lachha Rabdi:

1. To make Lachha Rabdi, pour milk in a wide, heavy-bottomed nonstick pan and boil it on medium-high flame.

2. After this, keep stirring the milk again and again to ensure that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

3. Now when the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame to medium and mix saffron threads in it.

4. After this, now let the milk boil for 1-2 minutes (till a thin layer of cream is formed over the milk).

5. After this, with the help of a spatula, move the layer of cream to the edge of the pan.

6. Now scrape the sides of the pan continuously from time to time and keep pouring the milk accumulated on the sides back into the pan.

7. After this, keep scraping the milk at regular intervals to ensure that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

8. Now when the milk is more than half cooked, dissolve 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in water, pour it into the pan, and cook while stirring continuously until the rabri becomes thick.

9. After this, add sugar and rose water and cook for 3-4 minutes.

10. Now to enhance the taste of Rabdi, put it in an earthen pot and garnish it with almonds and pistachio slivers.
