If you are looking for something new and tasty to eat during fasting, then you can make Rajgira Kadhi. It is very easy to make and very tasty to eat. You can eat it on normal days apart from fasting.
Material :
1 cup curd
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup Rajgira flour
1 tsp cumin
½ inch grated ginger
2 green chilies
1/2 tsp sugar
rock salt as per taste
2 tbsp ghee
Coriander leaves (for garnish)
Method :
First of all, mix Rajgira flour and curd in a bowl.
Now add little water to make the mixture thin.
After this, whisk it well to make a lump-free mixture.
Now put ghee in a pan and heat it and add cumin seeds and roast it lightly till the aroma comes.
When the cumin starts crackling, add grated ginger and crushed chilies and cook for two minutes.
Now add the mixture of Rajgira and curd prepared earlier.
After this cook well on low flame to mix all the ingredients.
Finally, add sugar and rock salt to it and let the curry boil.
Rajgira Kadhi is ready. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with buckwheat puri, paratha, or sama khichdi during fasting.
