Let us tell you how to make Vrat Wala Dhoka which is made in very little oil and also keeps you energetic throughout the day.

plain rice
soapberry
lemonade
Sugar
baking powder or eno
Black Salt
Ghee
Green chilly
sweet lime
Curd
Water

Recipe
1. To make this, first wash the Sama rice thoroughly under water and then filter it well.

2. Now blend the sago well in the grinder. Then its consistency is made into a powder form, then soapy water is added to it and then it is thoroughly mixed. When its consistency becomes powdery, mix the soap and saam rice.

3. Now soak it by adding water as required. Keep it in the fridge for some time. About 5 to 7 hours.

4. Then blend this mixture well and when it becomes a smooth batter, add curd, lemon juice, sugar, and rock salt to it. In this, you can use citric acid.

5. Keep in mind that the consistency of the batter should not be too thick or too thin.

6. When ready to steam add eno or baking powder. Now grease a utensil and then pour the batter.

7. Steam it well for at least 15-20 minutes. After cooking, cool it and then take it out on a plate.

8. Prepare tadka. For this, heat ghee in a pan and fry green chilies, curry leaves in it and spread it on the dhokla.

9. Dhokla is ready. Serve it with green chutney.
