The installment may get stuck
According to the Ghazipur Agriculture Department located in Uttar Pradesh, they have decided for the farmers burning stubble in their district. If a farmer burns stubble, then such farmers can be deprived of the financial benefits available under PM Kisan Yojana.
Actually, under PM Kisan Yojana, beneficiaries are given Rs 6,000 annually. At the same time, this money is given in the form of installments of Rs 2-2 thousand three times a year. In such a situation, if a farmer burns stubble, he may be deprived of this benefit.
There is also a provision for fine
If a farmer burns stubble, he can also be fined. According to the Agriculture Department, farmers having a land area of 2 acres or less will be fined up to Rs 2500 for burning stubble in the fields.
If the land is between 2 to 5 acres, then a fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed on you for burning stubble. Whereas, if the land is more than 5 acres and you burn stubble, then a fine of Rs 15,000 can be imposed on you.
