Tips to avoid bloating after eating at wedding parties

  • First of all, you must keep yourself hydrated. If you drink the right amount of water with heavy meals, it not only improves digestion but also flushes out the toxins accumulated in the body.
  • Drink 1 glass of lukewarm water about half an hour after a heavy meal. This will help in avoiding bloating.
  • Often, while eating food at a party or buffet, we do not pay attention to the quantity and due to this we end up overeating. Therefore, chew your food thoroughly and focus on mindful eating.
  • Try to have balanced meals on your wedding dinner plate. Instead of oily snacks, you must eat fiber rich foods, fruits and salads.

  • At wedding parties, you will also get options like soup, salad, fruit chaat, raita and golgappa in the buffet. These are good for your digestion.
  • Be sure to eat these along with your main meal. When there is balance in your plate, gas and bloating will not bother you to a great extent.
  • You will often find salty snacks at parties. But to avoid water retention, do not eat high-salt snacks. Keep the amount of sodium in your diet low. This will prevent bloating.
  • Carbonated drinks can also cause bloating. Don't drink these.
