Cleansing the face is very important in every season. If the face is not clean, then skin allergy can also occur. Whenever there is a change in the weather, its effect is first on the face. A good face wash is very important for skincare, but the question is which face wash should be used. Many of us are such people; whose skin is very sensitive, even chemical face washes do not suit them.

No matter what the texture of your skin is, there is always a need to clean it. Skin irritation can be caused by sweat, dirt, makeup, and pollutants. Now to clean it, the face wash should be such that it maintains the texture of your skin and also protects your skin from seasonal changes.

We spoke to Shahnaz Husain, Founder, Chairperson, Managing Director and herbal beauty and hair care expert, The Shahnaz Husain Group. She believes that DIY face wash can also get rid of such problems to a great extent, but it should be used only by those people who suit it. Also, DIY face wash should be made keeping in mind your skin texture.

Face wash for oily and combination skin in humid weather

In such times, lemon juice can prove to be very helpful. However, those who do not suit lemon juice should not use it at all. Before using lemon juice, a patch test must be done on the skin.

Mix less than half a teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of cucumber juice and 1 teaspoon of cold milk. Apply it on a clean face and after a while soak cotton and clean it. After this, you wash your face with plain water. This face wash can prove to be very helpful in removing dirt from the face.

Apart from this, you can also use egg white mixed with a little lemon juice. Mix both these things well and leave it on the face for 15 minutes after that clean it with water.

If lemon juice does not suit the face, then use this trick

You can make a good cleanser by mixing oatmeal with curd. It can also act as a scrub for those with oily skin. Dry it after applying it on the face and then wash the face with plain water.

Seasonal face wash for people with normal to dry skin

If your skin is normal or dry, then face wash has to be used in such a way that the skin can get moisture. For this, prepare a face liquid by mixing half a teaspoon of olive oil and a little milk. This will help in making your skin soft. You have to massage it well by applying it on the skin and then wipe it with wet cotton. After this, if you want, clean the face with plain water.

People of all skin types can use this face wash in humid weather

If you have combination skin or you do not like any kind of chemical face wash, then take half a teaspoon of rose water and mix a teaspoon of aloe vera gel with it. Apply it on the face and after 10 minutes wash the face with plain water. This face wash suits almost all skin types. People with acne-prone skin can also use it.

If you do not like aloe vera gel, you can use papaya. Ripe papaya pulp can also be applied to the skin. Apply it and keep it for half an hour and then leave it. This softens the dead skin cells and when you wash your face, they will be cleaned.

Before using any kind of DIY remedy, you should keep in mind that it doesn't need to suit everyone. You should first do a patch test on your skin and only then apply them on your face.
