Jowar Upma proves to be a great dish to control blood sugar. Jowar is a whole grain that contains nutrients like minerals, protein, fiber, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron, and vitamin B complex. These can also be helpful foods in weight loss.

Jowar is a gluten-free diet. To make Jowar Upma, first finely chop the onion and curry leaves. Also, peel the peas and keep them in a vessel. Now take a pan and heat oil. Now add mustard and urad dal to it and fry for some time. Add curry leaves and asafoetida to it and fry for a few seconds.

Later add onion to the pan and fry for about a minute. Add jowar flour and stir for two minutes. Then add green chili paste, peas, coriander leaves, and salt as per taste. Pour water according to need. And now cook on low flame for two to three minutes. Serve with lemon juice.
