Ingredients to make Matar Makhana Curry
Makhana- 1 cup
Boiled peas – 1 cup
Onions cut into pieces – 2-3
Tomatoes cut into pieces – 2-3
Green chilli- 2-3


Ginger cut into pieces – 1 tsp
Garlic- 5-6
Cashews- 8-10
Cream- 1 tablespoon
Small cardamom- 2
Cinnamon- 1 piece
Bay leaf- 1
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chili – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
Cumin- 1/2 tsp
Whole red chilli – 2-3
Kasoori Methi- 1 tablespoon
Salt- as per taste
Finely chopped coriander – 1 tablespoon
Oil- 3 tbsp
Ghee- 1 tablespoon

How to make Matar Makhana Curry
To make delicious Matar Makhana, first of all, prepare all the ingredients given above. After this, take ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee is hot, add the makhanas to it. Keep in mind that these makhanas will be roasted until they become crispy and change their color. After roasting, take them out and keep them aside. Now add small cardamom, whole red chili, cinnamon, bay leaf, and onion, and fry for some time. After this, add green chilies along with tomatoes and cashew nuts and fry. Now add salt as per taste. When the mixture is done, turn off the gas and wait for it to cool down. Now take out all the whole spices separately and grind them in a mixer to make a smooth paste.

Now take a pan, put oil in it, and heat it. When the oil is hot, add cumin and prepared paste and fry it well. Now add red chili, turmeric, Kashmiri red chili, coriander powder, and cumin powder. After this, mix everything well with the help of a ladle. When the mixture gets mixed well, add boiled peas to it and mix it. After this, add Kasoori Methi, Garam Masala, and peas to it. Now add roasted makhana, mix it, add some water, cover it and cook. After this turn off the gas. However, before serving, garnish with green coriander. Now you can serve it with roti, rice or naan.
