PCOD i.e. Polycystic Ovary Disease is being seen a lot in women these days. In this problem, small cysts or lumps form in the ovaries. Due to this, hormonal imbalance occurs in the body of women because these lumps affect both periods and pregnancy. Other symptoms of PCOD include weight gain, missed periods, difficulty sleeping, feeling tired, unwanted facial hair and stomach problems. Some women do not gain weight even if they have PCOD. This is called Lean PCOD.

Tea/Coffee with Bread Toast

In most homes, bread and toast are eaten with tea and coffee for breakfast. But let us tell you that if you have PCOD, then you should not eat it for breakfast. It contains caffeine in high quantity, due to which progesterone level decreases estrogen levels increase and symptoms of PCOD become more visible.

Processed Cereals

If you eat cereals with milk for breakfast and consider it a healthy option, then let us tell you that it is not healthy at all in PCOD or PCOS. This increases blood sugar levels and affects insulin sensitivity. Due to this, testosterone levels are affected and symptoms of PCOD increase.

Fruit juice

The amount of fibre in fruit juice is low and due to this, consuming it increases the blood sugar level. One should avoid taking fruit juice for breakfast. You can eat any one fruit with protein protein-rich breakfast.
