minerals such as vitamin C, vitamin A, B-complex vitamins, iron and calcium is not enough.
There are many ways how you combine foods and how you eat them can affect the way nutrients
are absorbed by the body. This is why even if you are eating nutrient-rich foods; you may not be
getting all the nutrients you need.

Therefore, today we are going to tell you how to improve the absorption of nutrients. This

the process of absorption is.
Many of us know that energy comes directly from the macronutrients in food (carbohydrates,
proteins and fats), but vitamins and minerals are also essential for the production and storage of
energy in the body.
Absorption refers to the process of absorbing something. When we talk about nutrient
absorption, we are talking about absorbing substances like vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and
amino acids into the bloodstream and cells or tissues and organs.
This process is very complicated. This includes a variety of enzymes as well as saliva, acid, bile,
and more. Most of the nutrient absorption occurs in the wall of the small intestine. Typically,
nutrients from food and supplements pass by diffusion or transport through the wall of the small
intestine and into blood vessels, where they are carried elsewhere as needed.

Perform Prithvi Mudra (10 minutes) daily to improve the absorption of nutrients in the body.
This mudra helps in increasing the earth's elements in the body. This improves the strength of
muscles, bones and organs.
Method
 Cross both legs and sit in a lotus posture.
 Keeping the back straight, the mind should be stress-free.
 Keep your hands on the kneecap.
 Fold the ring finger inward and touch the top of the thumb with it.
 Stay in this position for some time and relax.
Caution
 Just make sure you keep a gap of 1 hour from the meals.
Remember, if you are not improving your lifestyle and diet, nothing can help you. Not even
currencies. So, watch your lifestyle. Eat right and take a sun bath more often.
Tips to Increase Vitamin D and B-12 Levels
For vitamin B-12
Eat formulated foods like curd, buttermilk, dosa and homemade pickles to improve gut
bacteria. Increase your intake of salad (it is prebiotic) as it helps to increase the good bacteria in
the gut and increases the level of vitamin B-12.
For Iron
To improve iron levels, use iron utensils and increase your intake of raisins, dates, millets, ragi
and amaranth.
For vitamin D
 Take sunbath daily before 9 am and after 4 pm (30 minutes daily).
 Wear white clothes while sunbathing for the best results.
