With this decision of the government, kidney patients in the state are expected to get great relief.

Let us know which patients need dialysis and why is it necessary?

Know about dialysis
Dialysis is a treatment done in serious kidney disease. It is needed by those people whose kidneys stop working or fail. People who have kidney failure problems, their kidneys are unable to filter the blood. Due to the inability to filter the blood, the amount of waste and toxins in the blood starts increasing, which can have many types of side effects. Such people need dialysis.

'Machinery Kidney'
The process of dialysis works in the body in the same way as your kidneys. Due to problems in the kidneys, there is a need to remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood through machines, this is dialysis. Some people develop kidney problems without any known reason.

Our kidneys also help in controlling blood pressure. In people with kidney failure, blood pressure is also helped to be controlled through dialysis. Doctors determine who needs dialysis.

What happens with dialysis?

Dialysis is done to keep the chemicals in your body balanced in case the kidneys do not function properly.

Dialysis helps remove waste and excess fluid from your body so that they do not accumulate in the body.

It also helps in maintaining the level of minerals like potassium, sodium, calcium and bicarbonate in the blood.

Through dialysis, an attempt is also made to control blood pressure in patients with kidney failure.

The financial burden on kidney patients will be reduced

Health experts say that in case of kidney failure, dialysis is a very effective treatment option to clean waste products and excess fluid from your blood. However, dialysis treatments are very expensive. People suffering from chronic kidney disease may need dialysis two to three times every week.

This decision of the Haryana government can help in reducing the additional financial burden on kidney patients.
