Khatta Meetha Dhokla: Bored of eating classic Dhokla, we are going to tell you the recipe for Khatta Meetha Dhokla, with the help of which you can make very soft and spongy Dhokla. You can also enjoy this delicious Gujarati dish for breakfast or as a snack.
Material :
-1 cup gram flour
-1 cup curd
-1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-2 tbsp semolina
-1 teaspoon turmeric powder
-2 tbsp oil
- to taste salt
-1/4 tsp sugar water (as needed)
1. To make Dhokla batter, add gram flour, turmeric powder, oil, curd, sugar, salt, and water in a bowl. Mix everything and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Now add baking soda to the batter and mix well
3. Place the batter in a steamer and cook it with the help of steam for 15-20 minutes.
4. Now heat oil in a pan for tempering. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilies, asafoetida, sugar, and water. Close the lid and turn off the gas.
5. Now garnish the dhokla with this tadka and fresh coriander leaves. Sour Meetha Dhokla is ready.
