Difference between dengue and chikungunya
Both dengue and chikungunya diseases are caused by mosquito bites. Genus Flavivirus is responsible for Dengue, while Chikungunya is caused by Genus Alphavirus. In both these diseases, fever starts rising first. In such a situation, let us know how to differentiate between the two diseases.

Symptoms of dengue
If you ever get a fever due to mosquito bites, first of all, look at your eyes in the mirror, if they are red then understand that you have got dengue. In this disease, the color of the skin becomes light red. Usually, this fever lasts for 3 to 4 days, due to which there is a deficiency of platelets in the blood. In such a situation, change in the taste of the mouth, dizziness, vomiting, and fainting can also be faced. In bad conditions, the body temperature reaches up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Symptoms of chikungunya
Like dengue, chikungunya also comes first with fever, along with it there is such pain in the joints that sometimes becomes unbearable. Even if this fever subsides, its effect remains for many days. There is also a complaint of pain in the eyes and sore throat in Chikungunya.

How to Avoid Dengue and Chikungunya
1. The way to avoid these diseases is not to allow mosquitoes to be born
2. Try to prevent water stagnation, as mosquito larvae thrive in it
3. Drain water from the pot, tire, remaining coconut shell, pit
4. Must clean the cooler twice a week


5. If it is not possible to clean the cooler, then put 2 spoons of kerosene oil in it.
6. Night or day, you should sleep in a mosquito net only, this will reduce the risk of this disease.
