Cases increased in North East
According to the bulletin, BA.2.75 virus has been prevalent, especially in the states of North East. However, there has been no increase in cases of serious illness or hospitalization of people during this period. INSACOG has also reported that the Omicron and its redesign are prominently made in India. Out of this, XBB remains the popular form all over India. After December 5, another bulletin was issued regarding this matter on January 2. INSACOG has told that the total infection rate is below 500 daily.
Omicron's new look
INSACOG had earlier issued a bulletin on 28 November. It was told in it that Omicron and its new form are also made in India. In many countries, the cases of Covid 19 are increasing again. Because of this surveillance has been increased in India as well. 173 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in India. After that, the number of infected people in the country has increased to 4 crores 46 lakh 78 thousand 822, while 2,670 patients are undergoing treatment.
So many cases in the latest report
The Union Health Ministry released the report on Monday, January 2 morning. According to those figures, one patient has died due to Covid infection in Uttarakhand. After this, the number of dead has increased to 5 lakh 30 thousand 707. To re-match the figures of death due to Covid infection, the Kerala government has added one more name to the list of patients. According to these figures, the number of coronavirus infection patients has come down to 2,670, which is 0.01 percent of the total cases.
