Onion Shortbread Ingredients
1.5 cups gram flour
Fine flour
2 large onions
2-3 green chillies chopped with leaves
Finely chopped ginger
green coriander
1/2 teaspoon celery
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 small garlic clove
Fennel

Method
First of all, add flour, gram flour, salt, and celery in a big bowl. After this, mix all these ingredients well.
Now add water little by little and knead the gram flour. Prepare it and keep it aside for some time. After keeping it for some time, prepare the stuffing.
To prepare the stuffing of onion shortbread, when the oil becomes hot, add cumin, fennel, and a pinch of asafoetida and fry. After this, add chopped onions to the pan and cook until the onions turn golden.
After this, add ginger paste and chopped green chilies to the onion and fry for some more time. After frying it properly, keep it aside to cool. Be sure to add green coriander on top.
When the stuffing cools down, take a ball and roll it lightly. After this, fill it with onion stuffing press it from all sides, and close it. Finally, bake it until it turns golden. You can serve it with green coriander chutney.
