Ingredients to make Veg Mughlai Biryani:

Cooked long-grain rice – 2 1/2 cups

Onion thinly sliced ​​– 1/2 cup

Tomato chopped – 3/4 cup

Green chili chopped – 1 tsp

Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp

Desi ghee – 2 tbsp

ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp

cinnamon – 1 piece bay leaf – 1 clove

-2-3 cardamom

Whole cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Red chili powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1 /4 tsp

Capsicum - 1/2

Carrot - 1

Pea pods - 1/4 cup

Chopped pods - 1 tbsp

Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Salt - as per taste

Method of making Veg Mughlai Biryani

To make Veg Mughlai Biryani, first, cook long-grain rice and take it out in a bowl and keep it aside. After this, cut long thin pieces of onion. Then cut tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, pods, carrots, and capsicum. Now put chopped capsicum, carrot, and pods in a vessel and boil them after cooking, take out the water and keep it separately in a bowl.

Now put desi ghee in a pan and heat it. After melting the ghee, add bay leaves, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom, and fry for a few seconds. When the spices start crackling, add ginger-garlic paste to the pan and fry while stirring. After frying for 2-3 minutes, add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soft. It will take 2 to 3 minutes for the tomatoes to become soft.

When the tomatoes become soft, add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt as per taste, mix with the help of a spoon, and cook for 1 minute. After this add boiled vegetables and mix and let it cook for a couple of minutes. Now keep the prepared mixture aside.

Now grease the microwave baking dish and spread one cup of rice evenly. Pour the prepared vegetable mixture over it and spread it evenly. Then in the end put one and a half cups of rice on top and make a layer. At the end, garnish it with green coriander leaves and cook at high temperature for 2-3 minutes. After this, take the utensil out of the microwave. Tasty Veg Mughlai Biryani is ready to serve.
